Milbank’s Yondr Group Data Center Project Named Deal of the Year at IFLR Asia Pacific Awards 2025

The Yondr Group’s hyperscale data center project in Johor, Malaysia, was named Project Finance Deal of the Year at the 2025 IFLR Asia Pacific Awards. Milbank LLP advised the parties financing the 98 MW data center, which is the first phase of a 72.5-acre campus that will deliver up to 340 megawatts of critical IT capacity when fully complete, making it one of the largest and most technologically advanced data centers in Asia Pacific.

The data center campus will also be certified by the Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies green building program, which is the International Finance Corporation (IFC) green building certification system focused on making buildings more resource efficient.

Milbank was also recognized with an IJGlobal APAC Infrastructure Deal of the Year award for its work on the transaction.
