Primary Focus & Experience
Ms. Socash’s practice focuses on developing, implementing and administering a wide variety of sophisticated planning techniques for individuals, families and fiduciaries. She has extensive experience advising on gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, charitable planning, succession planning, complex estate administration, and trust and fiduciary matters.
Ms. Socash’s approach is practical, strategic, and solution-oriented. She works with clients based across the United States and internationally.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Ms. Socash earned a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, summa cum laude, where she was awarded the John Bracken Award, and a M.S. from Pace University. She received her J.D., summa cum laude and with highest honors, from the George Washington University Law School. She was named to the Order of the Coif and served on the George Washington Law Review. Previously, Ms. Socash taught middle school in New York City through Teach For America.
