Primary Focus & Experience
David has extensive experience advising sponsors, utilities, contractors, commercial lenders, infrastructure funds, export credit agencies, multilateral agencies and development banks on major international projects and project financings across a wide variety of sectors, including power, oil and gas (including LNG), petrochemical and transportation and social infrastructure. In addition to his project finance work, David regularly advises clients on corporate financings, acquisitions, restructurings and asset financings.
David has substantial experience supporting Korean corporations and financial institutions, including The Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) and Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-sure) on their overseas investments. David was the first foreign lawyer to be seconded to KEXIM.

He is recognized as a leading lawyer for his work in the projects sector by both Chambers and Legal 500. David is ranked as a leading lawyer in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2018, in which clients acknowledged him as a “strong finance lawyer” who is “good to work with” and appreciated for his "high level of familiarity with export credit agencies”.
