Milbank LLP will be recognized with the 2024 Syndicated Loan Deal of the Year Award for advising on an $11 billion loan to the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 2024 Bonds, Loans & Sukuk Middle East Awards event will be held on June 5 in Dubai.
Milbank represented the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and other global lenders on the $11 billion loan to the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was the largest syndicated loan to a government in 2023 and the year’s largest loan in EMEA. The 10-year loan is intended to finance, among other things, infrastructure projects and to be used for general budgetary purposes of the Kingdom.
