Milbank LLP was honored for its commitment to pro bono work at the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) 2021 Pro Bono Awards celebration, held on October 26.
Since 2020, Milbank lawyers have contributed more than 1,500 hours to NYLAG pro bono projects and matters. Over the past decade, the firm has contributed nearly 12,000 hours to the organization.
Founded in 1990, NYLAG is a leading civil legal services organization combatting economic, racial and social injustice by advocating for people experiencing poverty or in crisis. NYLAG services include comprehensive, free civil legal services, financial empowerment, impact litigation, policy advocacy and community partnerships.
