Milbank LLP hosted an Indonesian Restructuring Case Studies webinar on February 18. The event was presented by the Indonesia and Singapore networks of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). Milbank partner Jacqueline Chan served as a panelist focusing on the international cross-border aspects of restructuring companies in Indonesia.
The speakers included Ms. Chan; Tracy Tania, partner at Assegaf Hamzah & Partners; Charles Evans, senior director at Alvarez & Marsal; and moderator and financial journalist Eveline Danubrata. The panelists focused on key takeaways from notable Indonesian restructurings, addressed regulatory reform and due diligence, and offered insights for future distressed scenarios for potential investors, lenders and borrowers. More than 110 attendees logged in from a broad range of companies ranging from financial institutions, professional advisors, sovereign wealth funds, Government regulators and private funds.
