Milbank Expands Alternative Investments Team with Addition of Partner Alex Martin in London

Milbank LLP is pleased to announce that Alex Martin has joined the London office as a partner in the Alternative Investments practice. He joins the firm along with a significant team, including Kristine Kozicki, who joins as special counsel.  

Mr. Martin has built a leading collateralized loan obligation (CLO) practice and represents a number of top-tier CLO managers, arrangers, credit funds and asset managers.

Mr. Martin’s practice also includes the establishment and operation of CLO equity funds and credit portfolio financings. He has worked with clients on a range of acquisitions and transactions, including CLO manager M&A processes, the establishment of structured credit platforms, asset-based financing structures, receivables financings, private credit portfolio financings and a variety of other fund finance transactions. Mr. Martin’s clients in the CLO space include some of the largest and most established asset managers and bank arrangers.

Mr. Martin joins Milbank from Latham & Watkins, where he was a partner in the structured finance and securitization team. He received his LLB from Manchester University in 2007.
