Milbank LLP partner Iliana Ongun has been named a member of the 2022 class of Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows. In addition, associates Katherine Hannah and Pinky Mehta have been selected as LCLD Pathfinders.
The LCLD Fellows and Pathfinder programs are among the most comprehensive legal talent development initiatives in the country. They were established to help increase diversity at the leadership levels of law firms and corporate legal departments.
“We’re extremely proud of Iliana, Katherine and Pinky,” said Mikeisha Anderson Jones, Milbank’s Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer. “They are an important part of Milbank’s continued commitment to building a more inclusive, equitable and diverse legal profession focused on excellent client service.”
Ms. Ongun is a partner in Milbank’s New York office and a member of the firm’s Corporate Group. Ms. Hannah is an associate in the New York office and a member of Milbank’s Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group. Ms. Mehta is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office and a member of the Transportation and Space Group and Global Risk & National Security Practice.
The LCLD Fellows Program is an intensive, yearlong professional development program designed for lawyers with 8 to 15 years of experience. The program provides Fellows exclusive access to numerous virtual training methods and networking opportunities, including class meetings, leadership lunches, accountability partners, mentoring and alumni outreach.
The LCLD Pathfinder Program is designed for diverse, high-potential, early-career attorneys. The program provides Pathfinders with tools for developing and leveraging professional networks through relationship-building and foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies.
LCLD, launched in 2009, comprises more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who participate in programs designed to attract, inspire and nurture the talent in society and within the members’ organizations, and help a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership.
