Primary Focus & Experience

Ryan has experience acting on a range of international financing and restructuring matters, including both out-of-court and in court processes, representing debtors, creditors, sponsors and other stakeholders. Ryan also has experience advising credit investors on potential transactions and investment opportunities in distressed debt.  Prior to focusing on financial restructuring, he gained a broad financing experience advising on a variety of corporate financing structures including fund finance, securitisations, project financing and derivatives.

A selection of Ryan’s experience includes advising:

• An ad hoc group of holders of senior notes issued by Altice France Holding S.A. in relation to the restructuring of c. €29 billion of debt owed by the Altice Group.
• The sponsor in relation to the c. €1.5 billion recapitalization of the Accell Group implemented by way of a UK scheme of arrangement.*
• An ad hoc group of holders of senior secured notes issued by Quatrim S.A.S. in connection with the comprehensive c. €11 billion restructuring of Groupe Casino implemented through an accelerated safeguard in France.*
• The sponsor in relation to the recapitalization and transfer of equity to lenders of the Flint Group.*
• The sponsor in relation to the restructuring of and transfer of equity to lenders of Food Delivery Brands (Telepizza) implemented by way of a Spanish restructuring plan.*
• Next Plc on the acquisition of the brand Joules out of administration.*
