Primary Focus & Experience
Paul's practice focuses on private equity transactions. He represents a broad range of private equity houses, financial sponsors and other stakeholders on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, bolt-ons and reorganizations across numerous sectors and geographies. Paul has advised on transactions employing a variety of structures including schemes of arrangement and portfolio transfers as well as more mainstream direct secondaries.

- Vitruvian Partners on the sale of Phlexglobal to PharmaLex*
- Dentex Healthcare Group and its shareholders on the sale of the company to Portman Healthcare*
- IFGL and Vitruvian Partners on the acquisition of Friends Provident International*
- The Key on its acquisition of Arbor Education and the related disposal of a controlling stake in the combined business to CBPE*
- Stirling Square on the carve-out of Consensus Support Services from the Caring Homes Group*
- Actis on its assumption of management rights in a number of Abraaj funds, including Abraaj Private Equity Fund IV, a global buyout fund, and Abraaj Africa Fund III, a fund for investment in sub-Saharan Africa*
- Scottish Rugby on the investment by CVC in the Pro14 League*
- Scottish Rugby on the investment by CVC in the Six Nations Tournament*
