Michayla's recent representations include: 

  • MUFG Bank, Ltd., Natixis, and the Purchasers in connection with the refinancing of a term loan and payoff of existing indebtedness for the operation of three pipelines.
  • MUFG Bank, Ltd. in connection with the refinancing of an existing credit facility supporting an operating natural gas-fired, combined cycle power generation facility with a nominal rating of 819 MW located in Oxford, Connecticut.
  • The Purchasers in connection with Mountain Peak Power, LLC’s issuance of US$285 million aggregate principal amount of 6.07% Senior Secured Notes due June 30, 2055, the proceeds of which were used to finance the construction of the Mountain Peak Power Generating Station, a 163 MW nameplate capacity natural gas-fired electric generating facility to be constructed near Denver, Colorado. 
  • LS Power in connection with its $480 million refinancing of three natural gas electric generation assets located in ERCOT with a combined capacity of 2.1 GW.
  • The Purchasers in connection with an expansion financing of a Texas-based pipeline in a private placement transaction.
  • The arrangers and lenders in connection with the construction and back-leverage debt financing of an approximately 189 MW photovoltaic wind energy generation project located in Chowan County, North Carolina.
  • Morgan Stanley in connection with the Term Loan B refinancing of two power plants located in Pennsylvania and indirectly owned by Carlyle/Cogentrix.
  • Saavi Energia in connection with the acquisition and related green loan acquisition financing of the 130 MW La Lucha solar power plant in Durango, Mexico from Northland Power.
  • Deutsche Bank AG and First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company in connection with UBS Asset Management’s development of a 728MW portfolio of four battery storage Projects located in Texas.
