Markus Muhs

Primary Focus & Experience

Markus Muhs specializes in M&A and private equity and has particular experience in advising financial investors, corporates, asset managers and institutional investors on transactions in the infrastructure sector and investments in tech-driven businesses. He provides a broad practice covering acquisitions, joint ventures and equity syndications as well as complex infrastructure projects.

Markus is listed in directories such as JUVE as a ‘Leading name for private equity’ and as ‘highly regarded for M&A’ in IFLR1000.

Before joining Milbank, he worked, among others, in the legal department of an international company and in the Frankfurt and Munich offices of a “Magic Circle” law firm, where he became partner in 2012.

Markus Muhs studied law at the University of Frankfurt and is admitted to the German bar. He is fluent in both German and English.
