Mr. Dougherty’s practice focuses on representing banks and other financial institutions in senior lending transactions. With over thirty years of experience, he has a longstanding reputation of providing sophisticated legal representation of lenders on cross-border and acquisition financings – distinctively able to structure everything from the financing of leveraged buyouts, tender offers and other going private transactions, recapitalizations, bridge and mezzanine financings, and DIP and exit facility financings. He has a broad range of financing experience in both US and international transactions and has been admitted to practice in England & Wales, Hong Kong and New York.
Mr. Dougherty is renowned for his work on groundbreaking financings that he helps to craft to meet the unique challenges of clients needing to raise significant amounts of capital in multiple markets.
