Katherine Kelly Fell is a partner in the New York office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group. 

Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Fell’s practice includes complex commercial and class action litigation, securities litigation, private and regulatory antitrust matters, regulatory investigations and internal investigations. She has represented clients across a broad variety of industries, including in the fields of finance, media and entertainment, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to joining Milbank, Ms. Fell practiced in the litigation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Ms. Fell received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Fell authored “NY Discovery Stay Ruling Empowers Securities Defendants” for Law360, discussing the significant ramifications that the Camelot decision will have for securities litigation in New York state courts.

Ms. Fell is recognized in The Legal 500’s 2024 edition for white collar litigation and on Benchmark Litigation's 2024 40 & Under List. In 2021, Ms. Fell was appointed to a three-year term as a Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law Trial Practice Committee.

Ms. Fell maintains an active pro bono practice and has argued and appeared on behalf of clients in state and federal court in all stages of disputes, including in the New York Court of Appeals and as counsel for amici on briefs to the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Fell received The Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award for outstanding public service by an individual lawyer in 2013, 2014, and 2016, and 2021. She has been honored by the New York State Bar Association as Empire State Counsel for her pro bono contributions.
