Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Nesfield practice centers on advising lead arrangers, private capital and other alternative financing providers, as well as corporate borrowers, in a wide variety of debt financing transactions. He has significant experience representing both lenders and borrowers in large-cap syndicated loans, middle market loans, and direct lending transactions, including syndicated term loans, asset-based loans, unitranche and mezzanine facilities, high yield bonds and investment grade facilities, as well as special situation financings and restructurings. His representative clients include the world’s leading investment banks, direct lenders, and other financial institutions, such as JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, KKR, HPS, OTPP and others.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Nesfield was named to the 2022 Bloomberg Law “They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40” list, which recognizes the accomplishments of stellar young lawyers nationwide. The 40 honorees represent “the best of the future of the legal profession.” Mr. Nesfield also presents "Understanding the Credit Agreement" annually during the Loan Syndications and Trading Association’s (LSTA) Summer Series program. In addition, Mr. Nesfield is a member of the faculty for the Practicing Law Institute (PLI) “Leveraged Financing 2024” program.
As a former football player at the University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Nesfield is a member of the Penn Champions Club and an avid supporter of Penn Football.
Mr. Nesfield earned his J.D. from the Howard University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
