Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Singer’s practice focuses on the representation of project sponsors, investors and lenders in the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects.
His recent representations include:
- Ongoing representation of a JV partner in the development of a green hydrogen project located in Texas.
- The Lender group in connection with a $7.5 billion debt financing facility to an SPV owned by CoreWeave, Inc. led by funds managed by Blackstone, with strategic participation from Magnetar, Coatue and various other lenders.
- MUFG Bank, Ltd., Mizuho Bank, Ltd., Truist Securities, Inc., BBVA and CoBank, ACB as Coordinating Lead Arrangers in connection with the financing of the expansion of the approximately 580-mile Matterhorn Pipeline, located in Texas.
- MUFG Bank, Ltd. in connection with the financing of the approximately 40 miles in length, a 42” mainline, compressor stations, meter stations, and associated land and facilities, connecting Agua Dulce to Cheniere Corpus Christi LNG facility in Texas.
- The Lenders in connection with the provision of a bridge loan facility to finance the purchase price for the acquisition of incremental shares in Delta House FPS LLC and Delta House Oil and Gas Lateral LLC, which own a semi-submersible Floating Production System operating in the Gulf of Mexico, and associated oil and gas export pipelines located in the Mississippi Canyon.
- The back-leverage lenders to Blackstone in connection with its acquisition of preferred equity interests in a joint venture with NextEra that will own a number of operational wind and solar facilities.
- Banco Santander, S.A. in connection with the provision of acquisition financing to Axium ES Holdings LLC to fund a portion of the acquisition price for a portfolio of solar and battery projects in the United States.
- Carlyle in connection with the issuance by Greenbacker of 8.25% Senior Secured Notes due July 24, 2028, to be used for the financing of the development and operation of solar projects in Nevada, New Jersey, and Utah and wind projects in Maine.
- The Lenders in connection with EnfraGen’s acquisition and financing of six renewable projects in Panama and Costa Rica.
- The Lenders in a financing to CyrusOne for the operation and expansion of an existing Data-Center build-out in Houston.
