Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Simpson’s practice focuses on private equity transactions. He represents a broad range of private equity houses, financial sponsors and other stakeholders on corporate transactions of all types – from private acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, minority investing, consortium deals and portfolio company bolt-ons, through to full, partial and staged exits. Jordan has extensive experience of complex carve-outs and schemes of arrangement in the private equity sphere, and regularly advises clients across a variety of sectors and geographies.

- The founders and controlling shareholders of Third Bridge on a significant minority investment by Astorg*
- PA Consulting on its novel private equity-style partnership with Jacobs Engineering Group*
- Actis on its assumption of management rights in a number of Abraaj funds, including Abraaj Private Equity Fund IV, a global buyout fund, and Abraaj Africa Fund III, a fund for investment in sub-Saharan Africa*
- The founders and controlling shareholders of Acturis on a significant minority investment by Astorg*

Prior to joining Milbank LLP, Jordan was managing partner in the London office of a boutique law firm specializing in corporate law and private equity matters.
