Primary Focus & Experience
Jon counsels public and privately held companies, financial institutions, corporate executives, and creditors’ committees on a broad array of executive compensation and employee benefit matters. A significant aspect of his practice includes designing, implementing and terminating compensation and benefit arrangements such as employment and separation agreements, retention, severance, and change-in-control arrangements, and cash and equity-based incentive programs. He also advises clients on disclosure requirements and tax rules, including Internal Revenue Code Sections 409A and 280G.
