James McClymont

Primary Focus & Experience

Mr. McClymont’s practice focuses on private equity transactions. He represents a broad range of private equity houses, financial sponsors, management teams and other stakeholders on corporate transactions of all types – including leveraged buyouts, minority investing, consortium deals, secondary directs, portfolio company bolt-ons and management incentivization. James has particular experience in complex shareholder arrangements and regularly advises clients across a variety of sectors and geographies.

Recognition & Accomplishments

Prior to joining Milbank, James was a partner in the London office of a boutique law firm specializing in corporate law and private equity matters.
