Primary Focus & Experience
Mr. Cohen’s practice focuses on the taxation of complex financing transactions, structured finance and asset securitization transactions, and US and foreign securities offerings.
Recognition & Accomplishments
Mr. Cohen was recognized as a “Next Generation Lawyer” in the field of International Tax by Legal 500. Articles by Mr. Cohen appear in several publications including The Journal of Taxation, The Journal of Taxation of Financial Products, Tax Notes and Tax Notes International.
Mr. Cohen has been a panelist at the ABA Fall Tax Meeting and the IBA Finance and Capital Markets Tax Conference. Mr. Cohen previously served as a Membership Officer of the IBA Taxes Committee.
Mr. Cohen received his B.A. from Brandeis University and earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, where he was an editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.
