Anastasia Pastan is special counsel in the Washington, DC office of Milbank LLP and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group.

Primary Focus & Experience

Ms. Pastan has broad experience preparing complex, high stakes matters, including class actions and multi-district litigations, for trial. While she represents clients across a variety of areas, her practice focuses on antitrust. She has litigated both government and private antitrust actions, in administrative tribunals and federal courts. She was also a member of the trial team that represented the NFL in a class-action lawsuit by Sunday Ticket subscribers seeking $21 billion in damages. Following a jury trial, the district court granted judgment to the NFL as a matter of law on all claims. Ms. Pastan previously managed the trial team that defeated the FTC’s efforts to enjoin Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, clearing the path for the deal to close.

Ms. Pastan maintains an active pro bono practice; she has represented clients in a variety of trial and post-conviction matters, including criminal and class action matters.
