Transportation and Space special counsel Richard Walton and associate Ben Godsell lectured as part of the Diploma in Aviation Leasing & Finance program held by the Law Society of Ireland on February 8, 2018 in Dublin. Richard and Ben’s session took the participants (who had legal, engineering or finance backgrounds) through the primary provisions of an aircraft lease and analysed the common negotiation points which are likely to be of importance to each of the lessor the lessee. The session also gave the participants examples of the practical applications and impacts of such provisions.
