Milbank LLP was privileged to partner with pro bono law firm Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG) in supporting crucial policy development regarding Russia's war in Ukraine.
Over the course of several months, the Milbank pro bono team – including partners Henry Scott and John Beahn and associates Liam Bowers, Maria Bun, Ari Gilberg, Cleopatra Gray, Travis Haltom, Jin Jeon, Justin Le, Catherine Matuska, Jeffrey Turben and Edward McCartney – was actively engaged in PILPG working groups focused on Ukraine, contributing white papers, conducting expert case study interviews and preparing memoranda.
PILPG praised the Milbank team’s contributions to the effort. “Our experts greatly enjoyed their conversations with your team of Milbank lawyers,” PILPG noted. “It has been incredibly valuable to encapsulate their expertise and experiences in past ceasefire negotiations into a document to provide lessons learned for Ukraine.”
