Milbank’s Global Project, Energy & Infrastructure Partner John Dewar will be speaking on two panels titled “A Bright Future: Solar Project Financing for New Projects” and “Blowing in the Wind: Financing Wind Farms” at TXF’s MENA 2018 conference at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina, Dubai on 2 October 2018. The solar panel examines the economics of solar power in the region, the investors funding the projects and the opportunities for project and export finance in Middle Eastern solar energy in 2019 and the wind panel session will survey the scope and scale of wind power in the region and the investment and financing required for further expansion as energy sources diversify over the next decade.
