Carlos T. Albarracín, a partner in Milbank LLP's Global Capital Markets Group and Latin America Practice Group, recently spoke on the panel titled “M&A and Tech in Latin America: How Will Unicorns (Existing and Up-and-coming) Confront a Changing Investment Landscape?” at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Biennial Latin American Regional Forum, which took place March 22-24, 2023 in Cartagena, Colombia. The panel discussed how a changed investment landscape impacts the growth of the LatAm fintech space with a focus on financing and M&A trends. According to the IBA, this conference was attended by over 5,000 legal professionals from over 30 countries.
