Milbank LLP International Arbitration partner Viren Mascarenhas will speak at Colombia Arbitration Week (CAW) on Wednesday, October 30. The virtual panel, “The Post-Award Reality: Recognition and Enforcement Proceedings,” will cover best practices and challenges in the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

Mr. Mascarenhas has significant experience advising or representing states, international organizations and companies in proceedings before international courts and arbitral tribunals, including on international investment law, international environmental law, transboundary harm and human rights. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and teaches international arbitration at Columbia Law School.
