Milbank LLP Financial Restructuring partner Mark Shinderman was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers list of 2024. The list honors the top law professionals and their outstanding legal achievements in the Los Angeles region.
Mr. Shinderman has almost 30 years of experience restructuring companies inside and outside of bankruptcy in numerous industries, directing bankruptcy-related litigation, and handling the purchase of assets out of bankruptcy. In 2022, The Best Lawyers in America named Mr. Shinderman the best bankruptcy lawyer in Los Angeles. He has been recognized as a leading bankruptcy lawyer by several publications, including Chambers USA, IFLR 1000, California Super Lawyers, Lawdragon and Turnarounds & Workouts.
He is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Financial Lawyers Conference, the Panel of Bankruptcy Mediators, the California Bankruptcy Forum, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. For the last 25 years, he has served as a mediator in the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Court's pro bono mediation program, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Students Run L.A., a nonprofit organization committed to serving at-risk youth in Los Angeles.
