Milbank LLP Transportation and Space partner and Practice Group Leader Alexandra Johnson will co-moderate a panel titled “Current Trends in Aviation Capital Markets” at the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Forum on Air and Space Law in New York City on December 4, 2024.
Activity in the aviation capital markets has picked up due to recently reduced interest rates, and panelists will discuss whether the newest round of aircraft securitizations and debt deals are structured in the same manner as they were previously structured, while covering the latest trends in aviation capital markets and developing issues in existing deals that have emerged over time.
Ms. Johnson’s practice focuses on structured finance transactions, international transactions and corporate transactions, including ABS and portfolio securitizations across multiple asset classes, corporate platform formations with dynamic capital structures, CLOs (including nontraditional CLOs), acquisition financing, mergers and acquisitions, secured lending and restructuring.
The Forum on Air and Space Law is an annual one-day conference on aircraft finance and the aviation industry that explores topics including developing new aircraft technologies, international airline restructurings, current trends in aviation capital markets, recent developments in sanctions compliance and more.
