Milbank LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two market-leading corporate and capital markets partners to the New York office, further deepening the firm’s private equity bench. Richard Presutti will join the Global Corporate Group and Antonio Diaz-Albertini will join the Global Capital Markets Group.

Mr. Presutti focuses his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and alternative asset management transactions. Mr. Diaz-Albertini’s practice focuses on advising sponsors and corporations on complex finance and capital markets transactions, including leveraged buyouts, the issuance of debt securities, initial public offerings and follow-on equity offerings.

Mr. Presutti and Mr. Diaz-Albertini come to Milbank from Schulte Roth & Zabel’s New York office, where they served as partners. Mr. Presutti was co-chair of the firm’s M&A and Securities Group and a member of the Executive Committee. He has been recognized as Global M&A Network’s “North America Lawyer of the Year” and as a leading M&A attorney by The Legal 500 U.S. Mr. Diaz-Albertini is recognized by IFLR 1000 as a Notable Practitioner and was named a “Rising Star” by New York Super Lawyers. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Syracuse University College of Law.

Milbank’s addition of Messrs. Presutti and Diaz-Albertini reflects a significant additional step in Milbank’s development of its global corporate and private equity practice. In the last six months, Milbank added Neil Whoriskey in New York, Andrej Wolf in London, Barbara Mayer-Trautmann and Markus Muhs in Germany and Andrew Whan, Neeraj Budhwani, Davide Mencacci and John Bona, in Hong Kong. In addition, Milbank elevated corporate partners Iliana Ongun and Aaron Stine based in New York to the partnership in January 2021.
