Milbank LLP represented TotalEnergies in the joint development agreement with Casa dos Ventos (“CdV”), Brazil's leading renewable energy developer, to develop, build and operate CdV’s onshore wind and solar portfolio in Brazil, anticipated to be in excess of 10 GW.
The Milbank team, which handled the NY law aspects of the transaction, was led by Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure partners Dan Bartfeld, Aled Davies and Tobias Stirnberg along with special counsel Jeffrey Susskind and associate Ana Bueno. Mr. Bartfeld noted, “We are thrilled to support TotalEnergies on this massive renewables development opportunity.
