Milbank Advises Quartz Healthcare on Financing and Tax Structuring

Milbank LLP advised Quartz Healthcare Germany GmbH (“Quartz”) on raising an infrastructure-style financing for the group, related tax structuring and hedging arrangements.

The financing comprises committed floating and fixed rate loan instruments in an amount of approximately EUR 121 million and includes an incremental debt option to support the group's further growth. The commitments are provided by banks and institutional infrastructure investors.

Quartz Healthcare, a portfolio company of an infrastructure fund managed by InfraVia Capital Partners (“InfraVia”), is a leading European provider of radiology, radiotherapy, and nuclear medicine with a focus on medical quality and innovation. Quartz was launched in 2022, starting with the acquisition of Dr. Neumaier MVZ, a multidisciplinary outpatient radiology platform in Bavaria. Today, the group is treating more than 660,000 people in their 29 sites across Germany.

The group’s aim is to give patients access to the best clinical practices and offer doctors the latest technologies innovations.
