On November 16, 2023, Milbank hosted its Annual Real Estate 3 on 3 Basketball Invitational with fierce competitors, including three players who had previously played professionally. Participants included Milbank attorneys and players from over 20 companies, including Apollo, ARES, Artemis, Canon Hill Partners, Manulife, MC Real Estate, PIMCO, Prospect Ridge, Oxford, and many more. Over 150 spectators cheered on their teams, and DWS, along with MVP Nick Zeisloft, cemented their legacy as multiple-time winners of the tournament, taking home the trophy after defeating their fierce competitors, the Machine/Navy Seals Investment Group.
Commenting on the Invitational, Milbank Real Estate partner Erwin Dweck said, “I am pleased that we were able to partner with New Heights and Ted Smith to raise funds for this incredible organization. Each year, Milbank selects a partner charity for the tournament, using the event to raise funds for charities that are close to us and our clients. This year’s partner charity was New Heights (www.newheightsnyc.org). New Heights is a sports-based youth development organization that creates opportunities for youth to rise to their potential on the basketball court, in the classroom and in their communities.
