Milbank, Linklaters and FIA Global hosted a half-day CCP Risk Review Conference on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at The Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. The conference consisted of multiple panel discussions to provide in-depth insight into the most topical issues being considered by entities dealing with CCPs. Global Leveraged Finance partner Douglas Landy spoke on two panels, covering key points to consider when dealing with CCPs and default management. Alternative Investments Practice partner John Williams moderated a panel on margin and default fund contributions/assessments. Alternative Investments Practice associate Tamika Bent spoke on a panel covering account structures and segregation. Other panelists at the conference included, regulators, CCPs, clearing members, clients of clearing members, FIA Global and lawyers from Linklaters.
