Milbank Advises One Equity Partners on Sale of Computer Design & Integration to AHEAD

Milbank represented One Equity Partners (“OEP”) in connection with the sale of Computer Design and Integration LLC (“CDI”) to AHEAD, a leading authority in data, developer and infrastructure platforms. The combination of CDI and AHEAD, two of the market’s fastest-growing digital transformation specialists, creates an organization with more than $3.7 billion in gross revenue and over 2,500 employees across 40 locations globally.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in New York, CDI is an IT services firm that helps clients across multiple industries architect, deploy, and manage all multiplatform hybrid IT solutions. OEP, a middle-market private equity firm focused on the industrial, healthcare and technology sectors in North America and Europe, acquired CDI in December 2019. During OEP’s ownership, CDI saw revenue increase by more than 165% via organic growth and an acquisition strategy, including the transformational acquisition of High Availability, a premier IT solution provider and integrator, in January 2021.
